Welcome to Ravenscroft Care Home

Ravenscroft is registered to take people with both residential and nursing needs so avoiding a move when someone’s needs increase.  As well as providing a full range of services to older people.   The home also caters for clients under the age of 65.

Ravenscroft is situated on the edge of the village of Yelverton with stunning views over Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside.  Just opposite is the common and although now grazed by Dartmoor ponies and sheep, was during the second World War RAF Harrowbeer.  Ravenscroft’s original building was in fact the Officers mess and the popular tea rooms over the road used to the airfields control tower.

Largely purpose built Ravenscroft has 3 wings / units giving a choice of accommodation, the majority of rooms being single en suite.  All rooms are individually decorated and furnished with ground floor rooms having French windows leading into the extensive grounds.

Paths lead through the large landscaped gardens offering a perfect place to spend a warm afternoon.

Ravenscroft has two lounges to choose from that cater for all clients different needs.  All lounges have different outlooks as well as a conservatory overlooking the garden that we find is well used.
